This year's Franklin County Chamber Community Service Award winner goes to Poland Spring! Poland Spring is committed to being a valuable part of the communities where we live and work. Over the past two decades, Poland Spring has invested more than $12 million in direct grants to Maine schools, local non-profits, fire and rescue teams, environmental conservation, and local and statewide causes. They have awarded more than $270,000 in scholarships to Maine high school seniors through our Good Science Scholarship program.
Poland Spring donates hundreds of pallets of water to numerous fire and police stations across the state, as well as to town offices, churches, and other organizations, amounting to over $130,000 in total contributions. They also support local initiatives by donating to the United Way and the Dempsey Challenge. Recently, they contributed to the purchase of flak jackets for the Lewiston Fire Department, responding to their concerns about safety after last year’s mass shooting. Additionally, they sponsored The Center for Entrepreneurial Studies’ tiny homes project, which provides housing for at-risk youth in our community. Congratulations Poland Spring!!
